On Monday, the trailer for the upcoming film “Swatantrya Veer Savarkar,” starring Randeep Hooda, will be released.
The movie is Randeep’s first feature film as director. He is best known for movies like “Highway,” “Extraction,” “Kick,” and “Sarbjit.”
The movie’s trailer will be premiered at a multiplex in Mumbai’s Juhu neighborhood.
Randeep informed his followers of the trailer’s release on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday.
He tweeted a picture of the movie poster and said, “Until now, unsung and unheard! Come along as we share the untold tale of Akhand Bharat’s Most Controversial Revolutionary, #SwatantryaVeerSavarkar. Tomorrow Is The #SwatantryaVeerSavarkarTrailer Released.
Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s story is told in “Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.”
In addition to directing the movie, Randeep plays the lead role. Amit Sial and Ankita Lokhande are also featured in the movie.
On the anniversary of Savarkar’s passing, Randeep had earlier visited the Andaman and Nicobar Islands’ “Kalapani,” or cellular jail. He uploaded photos from his trip to X (formerly known as Twitter).
The actor also wrote a lengthy note in his tweet, revealing that he was unable to remain locked in the jail for more than 20 minutes during the film’s set reconnaissance.
The movie, which is co-produced by Roopa Pandit, Sam Khan, Anwar Ali, and Panchali Chakraborty and produced by Zee Studios, Anand Pandit, Sandeep Singh, Randeep Hooda, and Yogesh Rahar, is scheduled to be released in Hindi and Marathi on March 22.
